This was the first book I read for my Graphic Novel Book Club. I had my reservations about it since I’m not really a fan of DC. I read Harley Quinn and The Suicide Squad, but aside from that I don’t really read DC. I was very surprised by this novel. It was actually fantastic! The story was awesome and the artwork worked so well with the plot and action scenes. You could also really feel how Poison Ivy felt as she went about her journey, something I’m definitely not used to seeing in a DC book. And I loved how she had her redemption, but didn’t seem like she won at the end. There was so much depth to her character that I wasn’t expecting that truly surprised me and I loved every minute of it. Looking forward to what else the series has to offer.
